ICE Xtreme TabletIn the recent times, many companies have launched Android tablets which can be bought for affordable prices in Indian markets. Many other companies are also planning to enter the android tablets market with their new launches. ICE X Electron ICE is one such company it has released its product which is an android tablet with the name ICE Xtreme tablet.
The display of ICE Xtreme tablet has a display of 7” and the resolution of the display is 800 x 480 pixels. The screen is of capacitive touchscreen type with 5 touch input capability.
ICE Xtreme tablet, the new device from a new company runs on Android 4.0.3 or Icecream Sandwich operating systems.
The processor that is present in Xtreme tablet is Allwinner A10 processor. The most attractive features of the tablet is that it has a capacity storage of 8GB of NAND storage, 8GB of T-Flash storage and the storage can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
Xtreme tablet is equipped with a front facing 2 mega pixel camera.
The connectivity options of the tablet are – there is a built in WI-If and for 3G data connectivity there is a USB dongle supported by USB 2.0 port, HDMI port and there is also one mini USB port.
ICE X Electron ICE Company is planning to launch another two tablets apart from the ICE Xtreme tablet. One of the new devices will have wireless charging, first to be introduced in the world which will have Q1 wireless charging pad and slightly varied specification than the present tablet. This device is named ICE Xtreme II. The second one is expectedly will have the facility of converting HDTV into Android device. These may be released in the market in the time of few months. The company MD has said that though there are many other tablets in the market, considering the large population of India there is always a chance to get success and sell 2 million tablets per year in India.
ICE Xtreme and android based tablet launched by ICE X Electronics is priced Rs. 6,999 in India.
