Another way of deleting the mail data is:
- Go to Settings
- Now go to Applications
- Select Manage Applications
- Choose Mail option
- Select ‘Clear Data’ option
This will clear all the mail data and will free up more space on the mobile phone. Most important point to be kept in mind while following this procedure is to restart the phone. Only after restarting the phone, the change can be seen effectively.
