EAFT Technologies is about to launch tablet PC by name ‘Marathon’. This would be one of the few tablet PCs produced by Indian companies. It is expected that demand and craze for tablet PCs would be on rise in India in the near future.
It has got 10.1 inch screen and operates on Android 2.2 version. NVIDIA Tegra2 chip has been provided to it. HDMI port and USB are also seen on this tablet PC. EAFT stands for Everything At Finger Tips and it is a technological company, based in Bangalore, India. It has introduced mobile entertainment by name ‘MagicTile’ which has inbuilt GPS system and HDMI output. With these specifications and features, Marathon tablet is sure to reach the expectations of users. Presently, the world of tablet PCs is ruled by two giants, Apple and Samsung. But homegrown tablets are also expected to do a better business in Indian markets.
Marathon is the tablet PC released by EAFT technologies. There are also many companies in India, which are about to release their own tablet PC versions. Some of them are Spice Telecom, Micromax, Bharti Teletech, Karbonn, Zen Mobile, etc. According to few reports, Zen Mobiles and Lava Mobiles are trying to release tablets which would be offered at the price range of Rs.20,000 or less. EAFT Technologies Marathon Tablet PC is priced at Rs. 29,900.
