Memory card can be inserted in to mobile phones through a special slot provided for them. It allows the users to expand the memory of their phone. These memory cards are now available in different capacities and are very much useful in storage and transfer of files between devices having compatibility.

Micro SD and Memory Stick Micro (M2) are the most commonly used memory cards in mobile phones. Capacities of different memory cards are 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 GB. Recently, 64 GB memory card is also made available.
